Arlington trustees may place superintendent on paid leave

ARLINGTON — School trustees could put Superintendent Hector Montenegro on paid administrative leave this week. Trustees met with legal counsel during a special meeting Monday to go over records of Montenegro’s expenditures and outside work with educational foundations. After several hours behind closed doors, school board President Jim Ash posted a public notice for another special meeting, at 9 p.m. Thursday.
