Tape players help moms in jail connect with kids

'It lets her know I will love her no matter what,' inmate says
Whatever crime separated them from their families, some mothers in the Minnehaha County jail are reaching out to their children through stories. The Words Travel program at the jail allows women inmates to record stories to their children on tape. Those recordings are sent to their children along with a backpack filled with books and a tape player.
